At the height of Covid, a family of seven invited us to reimagine their century-old Colonial Revival—not through major renovation, but through thoughtful furnishing and layered decoration. The home’s original bones set the tone: period fireplaces, traditional millwork, stained glass, and softly arched window mullions became the foundation for a fresh take on new traditional.

A sliver of yellow from the stained glass sparked the living room palette, setting off a house-wide exploration of color and pattern. From a fuzzy, plaid wing chair that quickly became a fan favorite to a whimsical koi-fish wallpaper winding up the staircase, moments of playfulness are woven throughout. Each room carries its own personality while remaining unmistakably connected—restoring character, warmth, and an approachable sense of joy to a home ready for its next hundred years.
